Hi, my name is Naaz and I am a Canadian that will soon be in Sydney as a Working Holidaymaker. I expect to arrive sometime in April or May and stay until August. I am wondering what the rate for a single private room with and without ensuite washroom is. I am wondering if this also includes internet access and if not, how much more can I expect to pay? Is it possible to get a discount given my length of stay? Are there any other additional fees? Also, as for your location, is there a train station or bus stop nearby that will get me into and out of the city centre/CBD easily and quickly? I expect to work in the city centre/CBD so transportation will be a huge priority.
Many thanks and I look forward to your responses.

Hi, my friends and i are looking to coming to sdyney in early june. There’s 6 of us. and we are wondering if it is possible for us to book the family room instead (i saw that its only available for 5 people). How are the bed arrangement in the family room? Comes with the ensuite bathroom too? Also, may i know whats the difference btw the family room and the 6 bed mixed dorm? Thank you very much!

Renee March 24, 2011 at 6:16 am

Hi Cher,

Awesome, you will love Sydney! We can definitely book you into a Family room- its a neat room which is ensuite with the beds set out with a set of bunks and a double bed with a bunk above. If you want a private room then the Family room is the way to go otherwise the 6 bed dorm will cost you slightly more!

Hi there.
I read that you have a free shuttle If one stay with you for a minimum of 3 nights, but this is a one way airport pickup to Westend with Sydney City Shuttle Buses, you don’t offer the other way (hostel to airport) for free, do you?

Reply

kate September 13, 2011 at 4:06 am

Hi Elizabeth,

Apologies, we have only just seen this post.

We do offer a FREE shuttle from the airport if you are staying with us for more than 3 nights,. We use a fantastic shuttle company that pick you up from Westend and drop you direct tot he airport – they are cheaper then taking the train or the taxi – and the best thing is you can book it 10 mins before the bus leaves.

If you need any more information just let us know

I arrive to Sydney on the 20th of October and will probably stay 2 nights.
Do we have a locker when we stay in the church room?
(I travel with my computer and I don’t want to carry it everywhere).
How many days do we have to book in advance?
Thanks

I was wondering a few things. I plan to book for 3 nights with my partner in January and we wish to stay in the Church room. Are we able to leave bags there during the day or must we take it with us? Are there kitchen facilities for access? Also I have heard from someone who stayed in hostels many years ago, apparently you have to leave the location at particular times of the day, is this the case here? Lastly if I book with my partner, will we get to be in bunks near each other?

Thanks for your time.
Joscelynne.

Hi there,

I saw that the twin room has a private bathroom across the hall, what does this mean?
Is breakfast available?
Is there parking available??

Thanks
Nicole

Reply

Jessica January 11, 2012 at 11:19 am

Hi there Nicole,

Thanks for your email. With the twin room it has a private bathroom, however its not inside the room. Its a separate room across the hallway that you only have access to. If you prefer a private in your room, then just for a little bit extra you can book a triple room which is a bigger private room and has a bathroom inside.

We don’t offer breakfast, however we do offer free pasta and rice everyday. We are also centrally located in-between many shops & cafes where you can purchase breakfast from.

We don’t have a car park on site, however, if you park at Capitol theatre car park, just down the road from us, they do offer a discounted rate for our guests.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions please let us know
