The secrets of Melbourne are in the laneways!
When you’re visiting Melbourne most of the people are always going to the huge streets like Swanston or Elizabeth Street. However the really beautiful spots are hidden in the laneways throughout Melbourne.
There are maps available that give you a step in the right direction when you want to discover the laneways, or if you want to go on your own adventure you can of course just go in to the city and spot your own laneways.
For example go to hardware lane/street this laneway is on Lonsdale street between Elizabeth and Queen street. This laneway is perfect if you want to go to some nice little (cheap!) restaurants to enjoy a lovely meal, watch art in a few galleries or go to an Irish pub and have a great night out with your friends.
