The Cat Empire announce Byron Bay gig!
The Cat Empire (and pretty much my favorite band ever!) have just announced a Byron Bay gig, and I could not be happier!
Arguably Australia’s best live band, The Cat Empire will be playing the Beach Hotel on the 26th of August 2010 and tickets are on sale now, either at the venue or at www.oztix.com
With The Cat Empire just about to release their first studio album since 2007, titled “Cinema”, you can expect to hear plenty of new songs, as well as a few of the old fav’s too.
Joining them as their support act will be the soul/blues/gospel band Clairy Baby Browne and the Bangin’ Rackettes (“busting out some of the dirtiest doo-wop I have ever seen or heard…I was beginning to wonder how a band this classy existed.”). The Cat Empire has chosen this band for their spectacular stage show and phenomenal musicianship.
So get your tickets quick quick quick (I have mine!!) as The Cat Empire gigs are a sure sell-out!
