The Cairns Botanic Gardens have some of the best displays in Australia of tropical plants. This not only includes flowers and trees found in our own  Northern Australian rainforests, but also some amazing plants from Southeast Asia as well. Strolling along these shaded paths and views of the Centenary Lakes definitely give Cairns backpackers plenty of opportunities for some awesome pictures to send back home.
