Going to see Green Day in Auckland?
Let me just say I’m jealous! I am a huge Green Day fan and on the 18th and 19th of this month Green Day, one of the true great bands of our time will be performing 5 minutes down the road, from me here at The Camel Bar, at the Vector Arena, Auckland.
Although I wouldn’t be there, my spirits are high. The Nomads Fat Camel Hostel and Camel Bar on Fort St will be rocking to Green Day both days from the top floor to the bottom and as a Camel bar duty manager I guarantee the ‘unofficial’ Green Day pre and post party will be rocking to beats such as ‘Holiday’ ‘Minority’ as fans go crazy. If any backpacker comes to the bar and says “Menz, I am also a huge Green Day fan”, then I will do my special Green Day Dance – certainly something not to be missed – if I do say so myself!

If you are going to see Green Day in concert here in Auckland and you haven’t planned your accomodation yet, come and see me at the Nomads Fat Camel Backpackers Hostel on Fort St. We are literally 5 minutes from Vector Arena, we still have accommodation available and our Camel bar is going to pump for these nights to celebrate Green Day coming to Auckland.
