Anchor Bay, New Zealand
Anchor Bay is a 588 hectare park located on the East Coast of New Zealand. Anchor Bay is New Zealand’s first integrated open sanctuary which combines farming, public recreation and conservation of native species.
Anchor is only an hour and a half drive outside of Auckland so is the perfect day trip. However, if you fancy staying for a few days there is plenty to do including: Bird-watching, mountain biking, diving, hiking, exploring caves, surfing and swimming.
