Facilities at The Arts Factory Lodge

Arts Factory Backpackers Lodge Pool

Swimming Pool Arts Factory Lodge

The Arts Factory Lodge has heaps of facilities, unique to most backpackers hostels. A real bonus in mid winter, our communal games room also has a log fire in it, so there are no excuses to be cold in winter, not that it ever really gets that cold in Byron Bay.

The games room is equipped with pool tables, board games, internet terminals, plenty of seating with a view onto the swimming pool and the courtyard, music playing and a cosy log fire for your comfort. The games room is adjacent to the Surf Cafe and the Juice Bar in case you get the munchies or don’t feel like cooking in the communal kitchen.

Our onsite Café & Juicebar is open 8am – midnight and has everything you need… good value breakfasts, a selection of wraps, sushi & sandwiches for lunch and  a  great variety of $5 dinners available all day. It serves awesome coffee, fresh juices, smoothies & ultra thick milkshakes. There’s also chocolate , chippies & chewy and don’t  forget the best damn brownies in Byron Bay! Then there’s all the supplies you might need  – toothbrush, soap, sunscreen, rolling papers plus much, much, more.

So get down the café and meet some of the coolest staff in the hostel!!

  • Audrey Bertin6

    Hi,

What time in the morning do we have to come to put our names for the camp ground? And do you know if it is sure that we got a place (2 tents, 4 people) if we come early on the 23rd December?
And how much is the night in the campground?

    Cheers,

    A.

Arts Factory is a MUIST during your trip. I stayed there and LOVED IT!!! Its so chilled out and full of things to do…. close walk to cheeky monkeys!
The teepee is very kl to stay in but lets the mosquitos in (but what doesnt out there)

Jims tours is a good option when doing into byron.. its cheaper than the other one and on all accounts, more fun and less commercialised.

    Have fun guy x

As you may very well know, there are a lot of different types of swimming pools available these days. To keep it simple, I’m going to classify these pools under two different genres, an inground swimming pool and an above ground swimming pool. In the name of the swimming pool genre alone you can imagine the complexity of the pool project. For instance, after seeing what an inground pool looks like, you might be able to imagine all that would be required to build such a pool. Imagine all the dirt piled up in your yard during the excavation process, the need to re-landscape just about everything, and don’t forget about all the new required decking. Imagine now what an above ground swimming pool looks like and what all is required to build it. Basically just find a spot for your pool, set it up, and you’ll be swimming in no time! I believe you can already see the biggest advantages to having an above ground pool and why it really makes a lot of sense… time and money.

Is buzz studio still running an if so? How much wud it cost?

  • http://www.seasonalworld.com/ in ground swimming pools

Before any ground is broken, a Seasonal World designer works with you to determine if the pool you want is feasible for your terrain. Once the plans are good to go, the area is marked out to ensure that no underground pipes are hit during construction. Dimensions and grading are then double-checked, and then the excavation is dug out.
