With its large common areas, Cable TV and a chilled rooftop terrace area with our famous weekly BBQ's you can relax at Funkhouse backpackers Sydney & sink a couple of beers while watching the sunset over City and Harbour views. There is a fully equipped kitchen for you to use and laundry facilities too and with only 3 to 4 beds in each dormitory you can book a room with your mates.

You are close to all of Sydney's main attractions and can walk through the Botanical Gardens to the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge or the CBD. Don't fancy the walk? Then it's only five minutes by train. If the beach is more you then Bondi is less than 15 minutes away.

From Central Station take the train (platform 24) to KINGS CROSS (only 7mins). Turn left out of the train station, and walk along Darlinghurst road. We are 200 metres up on the left hand side.

Our Shuttle Bus operates between 5am and 8.30pm. If you arrive before the reception opens you can call the shuttle company direct on (02) 9661 1170 and arrange a pick up with them.
