A former 4 star hotel and now a 6 star backpacker lodge, Samesun Banff Backpackers Lodge has been re-launched with a massive backpacker dormitory and hotel rooms – with ensuite bathrooms, kitchen and dining areas, free WiFi, free continental breakfast, and free parking to name a few things off the top of our head.

SameSun Banff is located downtown just steps away from everything the town has to offer. Recently converted from a hotel, we have all the amenities a backpacker could want.
With a clean and comfortable environment, we boast spacious dorm rooms with a great atmopshere and friendly, helpful staff.
From the Calgary Airport
From the Calgary International Airport catch the Banff Airporter Shuttle to the SameSun Backpacker Lodge located at 433 Banff Avenue. The Airporter Bus costs $56 and leaves from the domestic terminal. You can find more information at The Banff Airporter.
From the Greyhound Bus Station
If you take any of the bus lines that arrive into the Banff bus station, we are just around the corner at 433 Banff Avenue. Walk down Elk Street to Banff Avenue and turn left. It's about a 10 minute walk to get to us and the bus depot has a map on the SameSun sign as well as the Greyhound agents will have maps available to show you the way.
